Hey gang, Things are going pretty well here at scad. I have a couple new images and animations in the pipe, and should have them up over the next couple of days. I'm trying to focus on making better aesthetic choices with my work, and I'm starting to bring in references from various sources to hopefully compose new and exciting 3d animation. take care all.
I'm proud to announce that I have finally started my masters program at the Savannah College of Art & Design for animation. I look forward to posting all the great work I hope to do while I'm here.
I have started working on some new short films and this week was able to turn over the model for a new character, he is a cartoon example of a real life dog that belongs to a friend of mine. my roommate and I have decided to make him a character in our short the get a job gang, which will chronicle some of our mis-adventures in finding employment. hopefully I will have new characters from this and other films posted soon. check it out
another great day here in london! two months in and I'm coming up on my second check at smoke and mirrors. looking for a new place right now has proven rather difficult, as most British people seem to have an understanding of the neighborhoods of London. I guess it's fair trade when I bring up bizzare neighborhoods in NYC and they get this lost look on their faces. but it makes looking hard, as my budget is tight and I want to live somewhere nice. mostly the decision is made by what the place looks like when I exit the tube, if it's nice and theres a grocer nearby then I'm in. to all who read this, if you know anyone out here looking for a roommate have them drop me a line by email if they can. the numbers at the bottom of the screen no longer work(I think). well I have to reboot this machine so I guess I'll go.
hey gang! after several days of rain we caught a few nice days this weekend. it was lovely, I attended a swank party in a manor complex by the river and then went to an all day music festival that was held for free in finsbury park. I have started to make some friends at work and there are always people around to hang out with. In the next couple of weeks I hope to get out of the city with some people from work who invited me up to their parents for the weekend. should be a good time. outside that work has been quite a surprise, mostly because I work by myself all the time it's hard to gauge how much you really do know. but I am finding out more and more that people are pleased with my skills and happy to help me fill in the gaps. I guess all my preparation wasn't so much of a waste after all. Anyway the trip to work this morning was great, as it was cool but the sky was totally clear. what a good time.
